Bassini Dachshunds is a small home breeder in Christchurch. We breed miniature long-haired dachshunds because we genuinely love the breed. Our dogs live with us, eat with us, and sleep near us. That is the standard we hold for every puppy we place.
We have small, planned litters so each puppy gets proper attention before they go home. We stay in touch after placement and answer your questions whenever you need us.
Home raised
Every puppy grows up in our family home, not a kennel. They learn early what it feels like to be loved.
Health tested
We test all breeding dogs for hereditary conditions. You get the vet records and health certificate with your puppy.
Socialised
Your puppy meets people, sounds, and new experiences from day one. They arrive confident and ready for you.
NZKC registered
All our dogs are registered with the New Zealand Kennel Club. You get pedigree papers with every puppy.

Puppies grow up in our living room. They handle noise, visitors, and other animals before 8 weeks.
We stay in touch
We answer questions after you take your puppy home. Previous buyers contact us years later. That is normal.
NZ-wide delivery available
We arrange safe pet transport to Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, and everywhere in between.
